Mariia Novoselia

Mariia Novoselia is a data editor at the Missouri School of Journalism. She helps student journalists with data collection, cleaning and analysis and advocates for data stories in the Missouri News Network publications. 

Prior to joining Mizzou, Novoselia was an RJI Student Innovation Fellow and worked with Technical.ly, where she leveraged APIs to automate their multi-source startup tracker and helped build a guest post portal. During her time as a fellow, she also created resources for other newsrooms to replicate her projects with RJI and Technical.ly. 

Novoselia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Western Kentucky University and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Missouri. 

In her free time, Novoselia enjoys listening to and making music.
