Sadiq Abiodun
Doctoral Student
Abiodun Sadiq is a doctoral student in the Missouri School of Journalism. He holds an MA in Applied Communication Studies from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with concentrations in Public Relations and Organizational Communication. Before that, he was a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) in the Penn Language Center at the University of Pennsylvania,
His research lies at the intersection of organizational leadership influence, reputational management, and technology adoption. His works seek to contribute to how organizational leadership leverages technology to shape reputation, while also understanding the concerns around such technological adoption.
In addition to his academic pursuits, he has experience in Marketing Communication having worked within the Media Relations Unit of the SIUE University Marketing Communications as a graduate assistant, publishing the success stories of the institution through interviewing staff and students. During this time, he also developed content for the institution’s social media platforms. Prior to that, he served as a research assistant and went on to become a teaching assistant in the Applied Communication Department at SIUE.
