Steve Lambson is the news content manager at KOMU 8, the television news station for the University of Missouri School of Journalism and NBC News affiliate for mid-Missouri. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalist from MU in 2007, Lambson worked as a morning news producer at KRCG, the CBS News affiliate in mid-Missouri, from 2007-2008. He then moved over to KMIZ, the ABC News affiliate for mid-Missouri, where he worked as a morning news producer from 2008-2016, and as digital content director in 2016. Steve returned to KOMU in 2016 to take over the content manager position.

In addition to his duties at KOMU, Lambson occasionally teaches as an adjunct professor at the School of Journalism. He earned a master’s degree in Russian Studies from the University of Missouri in 2015. A Columbia, Missouri, native, Lambson’s interests include movies and pop culture, reading, hiking and board games.
