Yukendra Wynn is the Student Support Specialist in the Journalism Graduate Studies Office, having joined the school in October 2022.  Yukendra has previously worked at Columbia College in the Ousley Family Veterans Service Center and before that she spent 6 years working in the office of the Public Defender in Columbia. 

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, she served in the United States Marines Corps, and after her service she returned to St. Louis, MO, where she worked as a System Analyst Associate with US Bank before moving to Columbia. She spent 20 years as a military spouse and is a mom of 3 children, 2 sons and a daughter.

In her spare time, she enjoys watching crime shows and horror movies and hanging out with her family.
