Reporting on Threats to Democracy

Thursday, March 23, 2023
8–11 a.m.
National Press Club Holeman Lounge
529 14th Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20045

As threats to democracy proliferate and escalate, journalists have a responsibility to report deeply and accurately. Participants will come away with a greater understanding of emerging threats — plus story ideas and the tools to pursue them on almost any beat. This event is a project of the Missouri School of Journalism’s Curtis B. Hurley Chair in Public Affairs Journalism, the School’s Washington Program, and Investigative Reporters and Editors.
