The Frank Lee Martin Journalism Library is located in the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute. There is access to more than:

  • 50,000 digital newspaper titles through aggregated databases.
  • 45,000 electronic journals.
  • 350 online databases covering a wide spectrum of subjects.
  • a growing collection of e-books.
  • 26,000 print volumes on site, including more than 4,000 volumes of the Weinberg journalism fiction collection, the largest in the world.

The journalism library houses the Jack and Dorothy Fields photojournalism collection and a growing collection of Pictures of the Year International books.

There are two state-of-the-art technology group study rooms and one large conference room for collaborative learning.

The library also provides access to:

  • 35 computers, including 20 laptops.
  • digital cameras.
  • iPod Touches.
  • audio recorders.
  • various peripherals for check-out.

Research assistance is available to drop-ins and by appointment with library staff.  Library instruction geared to graduate/undergraduate students is conducted by journalism librarians.  Sessions also are conducted at the request of instructors.
