Tracy Draksler Brown is an accomplished integrated marketing professional with 23 years of advertising industry experience in the Chicago and St. Louis markets. Over the course of her career, she has led product launches, brand repositioning efforts and fully integrated campaigns for brands like Gatorade, American Express, Blue Bunny Ice Cream, Smucker’s, Con Agra and more. Her work has earned Effie and Reggie awards for both Fortune 500 and challenger brands, including gold and silver recognition for Milk-Bone, Chilly Cow, and Smucker’s pet portfolio campaigns. In team leadership roles at agencies including FCB Chicago, Merge and HLK, Brown balanced campaign leadership with new business development, organizational design, and cross-functional talent management. A Missouri School of Journalism graduate, Brown credits the Missouri Method with providing the real-world foundation essential to her industry career. 

Now a strategic communication faculty member at Mizzou, Brown bridges professional practice with academic learning, teaching AdZou, the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC), Principles of Strategic Communication, and Audience Persuasion. Brown also serves as faculty advisor to the American Advertising Federation (AAF) student chapter.
