Robert Picard, PhD '83

Robert G. Picard, PhD ’83, has been named associate editor for media and cultural economics of the New Palgrave Dictionary of Economics. The prestigious dictionary was first published 125 years ago by Inglis Palgrave and has evolved into a digital resource edition edited by Lawrence Blume, professor of economics at Cornell University. As associate editor, Picard will be responsible for selecting new topics and potential contributors, refereeing and approving entries in media economics and cultural economics. Picard is affiliated with the Reuters Institute, University of Oxford and the Information Society Project, Yale University Law School.
