In-Person Academic Advising at the Missouri School of Journalism
Personalized Support to Help You Start Strong
Students will benefit from personalized guidance tailored to their unique goals and challenges. Additionally, being on campus helps students build a stronger connection with the advising team and gain a better understanding of the layout and resources within the Missouri School of Journalism.
Why In-Person Advising Matters
Attending advising orientation in person is a vital step toward student success. Face-to-face communication ensures you gain a clear and immediate understanding of academic requirements while building personal connections with advisors who are here to support your journey.
Two options for in-person advising
- J-School Advising: Special Edition
- Standard in-person advising during your Mizzou Summer Welcome visit.
Which Option Is Right for You?
For a richer, more interactive experience that prepares both students and families for success, we highly recommend the J-Advising: Special Edition.
For a basic introduction and enrollment session, the standard J-Advising Session is automatically included with Summer Welcome.
