The Chicago reception is part of a listening tour that new Dean David Kurpius is conducting since joining the School in July. Beyond the School’s faculty and staff, he will meet with alumni, news media and strategic communication leadership and others to determine how best to strategically focus available resources.
Before joining the School, Kurpius most recently served as associate vice chancellor for enrollment management at Louisiana State University. There, he managed 89 staff members and a $5.6 million operating budget. Kurpius also oversaw almost $305 million in state and federal financial aid and scholarships.
