Rehab El-Buri, BJ ’06, died March 6, 2011, of cancer. She worked in the ABC News Investigative Unit. In 2008, Rehab was instrumental in developing a 20/20 report that investigated how some high-ranking international diplomats in the U.S. would abuse and exploit the domestic workers brought with them from their home countries.

Richard Lee, MA ’58, died March 3, 2011. He worked for the University of Missouri in several agricultural journalism capacities during his career.

Paula Hrbacek, BJ ’77, took first place in an international essay contest sponsored by Echoes of The Right to God. Her essay about a stained glass window in Sacred Heart Cathedral in her home community of Pensacola, Fla., was published in the organization’s March 2011 online journal.
