Kathleen Rose’s research focuses on science and risk communication, addressing the intersection between science, media, and the public. Rose’s work investigates both scientists’ public engagement efforts and public attitudes and understanding of science with respect to controversial scientific and environmental issues.

Rose’s rears has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Science Communication, and Public Understanding of Science.
