Support the Journalism School on Mizzou Giving Day

Support the J-School on Mizzou Giving Day

Mizzou Giving Day begins at noon on Wednesday, March 15, and continues through noon on Thursday, March 16. This first-ever 24-hour campaign is meant to inspire the entire University of Missouri family to support what they love most about Mizzou. While you can donate to the Journalism School throughout the year, Mizzou Giving Day is a great time to show your School pride. Your participation in Mizzou Giving Day can help us earn additional bonus funds, in addition to making a difference for our students, faculty, facilities and programs. We hope you’ll be part of Mizzou Giving Day and support the Missouri School of Journalism.

Transcript:

I’m Dave Kurpius, dean of the Missouri School of Journalism.

Join me and your fellow J-School alums on Mizzou Giving Day, March 15, in making a gift to the Missouri School of Journalism. Our School’s history is one of philanthropy, and now is a critical time for us to come together and support the J-School.

Your gift supports scholarships for talented students, our professional media outlets and agencies, and our ability to continue leading journalism education through the research and innovation that only happens here at the world’s journalism school.

Now is a time of big challenges in our industries. We’re working hard to train future investigative reporters, fearless storytellers and creative strategic communication leaders. We need your help to do this important work, as we have since 1908.

I hope you’ll join Tigers from across the country and around the world in giving to the J-School on March 15. Now, more than ever, you can make a difference for the Missouri School of Journalism.

Thank you, and M-I-Z!
