Tap Day 2025: School of Journalism students inducted into Mizzou’s secret societies

On Friday, April 25, members of the Mizzou community gathered in Jesse Auditorium on the University of Missouri campus for one of the university’s oldest traditions — Tap Day. The ceremony recognizes students, faculty and staff selected for membership in the University of Missouri’s six secret honorary societies.
This year, eleven School of Journalism students and two faculty were among those “tapped” into five of Mizzou’s six prestigious societies. Selection into these groups is based on leadership, service and a commitment to the values of the university.
Congratulations to the Missouri School of Journalism students tapped in 2025
