Columbia, Mo. (Dec. 13, 2016) — Strategic communication senior Clayton Conness reviews a marketing insights report created by MOJO Ad, a student-staffed professional ad agency. As the account executive on his team, Conness writes creative briefs, monitors budgeting and ensures the team’s creative work aligns with their overall campaign strategy. Through research, the 11 members of his student team are using research and working closely together to develop a report known as the “State of the YAYA,” which focuses on the “youth and young adult” market.
Conness likes that his MOJO Ad position allows him to collaborate with all the members of his team, helping him develop leadership skills that will benefit him in his career. From the opportunity to gain real agency training to the close bond he has formed with his team, Conness has found the overall experience to be invaluable. “MOJO Ad is the best thing I’ve ever done in college,” he says.
