School Welcomes New Faculty Members, Announces Promotions

Columbia, Mo. (Aug. 18, 2017) — The Missouri School of Journalism welcomes eight new faculty members and announces promotions for five others for the 2017-18 academic year.
Those promoted to the academic rank of professor are Cynthia Frisby, a member of the strategic communication faculty, and Stacey Woelfel, a member of the radio-television journalism faculty. Strategic communication faculty members Brad Best, Jamie Flink and Holly Higginbotham were all promoted to the academic rank of associate professor. The promotions are effective Sept. 1.
